Elephant Facts for Kids in Rhyme | George and Mummy Learning Fun

Oct 09, 2025

Did you know?

An elephant’s trunk’s not just for smell
It’s a straw and a trumpet and a hand as well
It slurps up water and gives a great spray
To cool off its back on a boiling hot day

But one funny thing that’ll boggle yer brain
It’s the only mammal that can’t jump, not even over a wee stain
Now Elephant boys in a herd are raised by their granny's and mummy's
And they love belly rubs and mud on their tummies

George says, “That’s how I’m raised I’m just the same as you,

But I can jump a good foot or two!” and we laughed and laughed
